Horses and hot romance! #giveaway #review

I've just got back from the Festival of Romance - exhausted but happy! It was brilliant to meet up with the rest of the HarperImpulse team again, and to make new friends.

Sadly, I wasn't there on Saturday night at the Ball to see the awards, but was so pleased to hear that Carmel Harrington (best romance ebook), Linn B Halton (innovative author) and HarperImpulse (publisher innovation) were winners! Massive congratulations to them, and all the other nominees and winners.

It was the first time I had attended the Festival and it was wonderful to chat to readers, make new friends and meet face to face so many of the people I chat to on Facebook and Twitter every day.

I did a reading from 'Summer of Surrender' (a first), sold nearly all the books I had taken with me, signed autographs (another first!) and got home to find a wonderful review (which brings me on to horses!). Thank you so much Kinky Book Klub -
'Between the book cover and the description I thought I was in for a hot and steamy book, instead I found a beautiful story. Don’t get me wrong it has it’s hot moments, but this book is about the sensual side, letting go, the difference between submission and surrender, between what’s healthy and loving and what is twisted and controlling.....'

' ....the scenes with the horses are really well written, James is a bit of a horse
whisperer, Kezia is just loud, jerky and the antithesis of James. It makes for some really lovely scenes.'

You can read the whole review here at <Kinky Book Klub>. This review really captures what the book is about, and by coincidence I recently wrote about the part horses play in my writing over on <Tea Cooper's blog>. This is the horse, Flash, that plays such an important part in the book (renamed Red!).

If you want to find out more about the story, I'm on tour! Please stop by and say hello, and enter the giveaway -

Want to be a part of the Zara Street Team?

Okay I'll admit it, until recently I hadn't a clue what a street team was. But, I just found out and I want one!!
Interested? Read on...

What's involved? Team members will get free review copies of my books as soon as they are available. All you need to do then is write up an honest review and post it on Goodreads, Amazon and/or any other sites you use. Post a link on twitter/Facebook - and that's it! No heavy promo involved, but of course if you want to spread the word in other ways you'd make me a very happy author.

How do I join? If you're subscribed to my newsletter then you'll automatically be given the opportunity to be part of the team. The newsletter also gives you all my latest news, sneak previews from the stories that haven't hit the stores yet, and exclusive giveaways and competitions.... and details of how to claim your free erotic story will be included with your first newsletter.

And if I want to join the team, but don't want to subscribe? No problem! Just email me at ZaraStoneley@gmail.com with 'Street Team' in the subject line, and include your name, email address, twitter and FB links.

And if I change my mind? Again, no problem. I'd love you to stay and join in with the fun, but I quite understand if you find it's not for you! Just drop me an email and I will remove you from the list.

Any questions? Just drop me an email, or add a comment.

Trust me!

I'm over at Delighted Reader today talking about trust, honesty and BDSM!

I wrote 'Forfeit' because I had this character in my head, Cat, who was sexy and in control, she was everything outwardly that you can admire in a girl - but she was just too much in control. She'd learned that it was better not to trust people with her emotions, not to show too much of the girl she really was. And then she met Brent, a man who never settled for second best, he wanted to let the real Cat loose on the world!

Now, could you resist the type of man who loves you just for who you are? One hundred per cent you. A man who doesn't want to change a single thing about you - except the doubts you have about yourself. Sexy hey?

I'd love it if you've got time to pop over and let me know what you think about Cat, Brent and the inspiration for their story :-) Just click here to go to Delighted Reader and read my guest post and a review of the book!
